Half of my world now knows that my Family (lovingly called as the Gujju Gang) had packed their theplas and methiya sambhar (kind of a pickle) and come to visit me here in Switzerland. When I saw the number of bags they had got I was amazed at how much trouble Swiss Air would have had, happily they are still running flights. And not to mention they had carried food that could feed half of Basel 🙂
If I were to tell the tales of adventures of the Gujju gang, it would not be any less than a P.G.Wodehouse 🙂 So I stop here!
The Gujju gang has amazing fascination for snow and so the first weekend trip was to Gstaad. Gstaad is a bilingual village in the German -speaking section of the Canton of Bern in southwestern Switzerland. Gstaad has a population of about 3,200 and is located 1,050 metres (3,445 feet) above sea level.
For me it was relaxation supreme, the village is like a toy land that you see in cartoon series such as Noddie and I so loved the place 🙂 We stayed in a chalet and it was calm, serene and very picturesque. Now I leave you with my experience of the place.
On day two we took the Glacier 3000 and went up the Swiss Alps to walk the glacier, I had never seen such a beautiful image of Earth just felt fortunate to see it 🙂
I have been tagged by my bestie, my babe Kokila to take part in Five photos Five stories Challenge (FPFS) which is- Post a picture for 5 consecutive days and attach a post to it , fiction, poem or short write-up.It can be anything to suit your taste.
